The Nuclear Reactor Laboratory is pleased to announce that Ms. Rachel Parus has passed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Reactor Operator Licensing Exam. She will join the other 20 members of reactor operations staff who hold NRC licenses to operate the MIT Nuclear Research Reactor. Rachel spent months in our initial training program, which includes both theoretical and hands-on plant specific training. She is a junior in the Nuclear Science & Engineering Department at MIT.
