The Nuclear Reactor Laboratory is pleased to announce that Liam Hines, Lukas Drexler-Bruce, Francisco Arellano, Keith Mokry, and Kyle Clapper have passed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Reactor Operator (RO) Licensing Exam, and Jacob Miske has passed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Licensing Exam. These achievements are possible through hard work and dedication. 

Liam and Francisco are MIT sophomores in the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department, Keith is an MIT sophomore in the Physics Department, Lukas is an MIT sophomore in the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department, Jacob is an MIT senior in the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department, and Kyle joined the NRL this past spring after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from UMass Lowell (UML) in chemical engineering with a focus in nuclear engineering. Kyle was also a licensed reactor operator at UML's 1 MW research reactor.
