The MIT Nuclear Reactor Lab (NRL) is proud to congratulate Dr. Lin-Wen Hu, Director of Research and Services and Senior Research Scientist, on her recent appointment as a Fellow of the American Nuclear Society (ANS). She was one of 10 individuals who received the ANS Fellowship on November 12th. Dr. Hu's dedicated efforts and leadership at the NRL span over 20 years and have contributed to the NRL's standing as a world-class research facility with increased recognition throughout the entire nuclear community.

Her citation reads as follows:

"For outstanding leadership and contributions to facility design, modifications, safety analysis and licensing. This work enabled the innovative use of high-performance research reactors for irradiation testing of high-temperature fuel, materials, instrumentation and for integral testing of advanced reactor concepts."
